This page documents the Drive ▸ Files view inside the Matter detail page. The Matter detail page is a two-level tab strip — see Matter detail for the parent overview.

Client Uploads folder
Section titled “Client Uploads folder”When a client with the Uploads portal capability sends documents
through the client portal, they land in a Client Uploads folder at the
root of this matter’s file tree (created automatically on first upload).
The Modified by column shows the uploader as “client name (client)”,
and the matter’s assigned staff receive an in-app notification for each
upload. Client-sent .zip archives arrive already unpacked into a
subfolder mirroring the archive’s structure, with every file
individually format-checked and virus-scanned. Clients cannot delete,
rename, or move their uploads — your team manages these files here like
any other Drive document. See
