Settings ▸ Envelopes ▸ Envelope Settings

This page documents Settings ▸ Envelopes ▸ Envelope Settings in the Athenty admin portal. It is admin-only (Owner / Admin).

These defaults apply to e-signature envelopes issued from a matter:

  • Default signing-link expiry (days) — applied to new envelopes that don’t set their own expiry, so no signing link is left open-ended. Default 30 days, hard cap 60.
  • Signed-document re-download window (days) — after an envelope completes, signers can re-download the signed document for this many days. Once the window lapses, re-download requires a staff re-share. Default 7 days; set 0 to disable re-download entirely after completion.
